Management Hawker Posted March 27, 2008 Author Management Report Posted March 27, 2008 I can't think off the top of my head, but I'm fairly sure it's a recycled joke...I think when it came around on the UKGold episodes I commented that he's said both variants. Possibly during his exams? Quote
Swanny Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I think this quote is incorrect: Lou and Valda are giving each other the cold shoulder:HAROLD: Oh it’s like being the parent of a ten-year-old again. MAX: I thought we were going to have to bribe them with lollies. (Episode 4523) Quote
Mrs Clog Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 What should it be? (is it the description or the people talking that's wrong?) Quote
Management Bagpuss Posted March 29, 2008 Management Report Posted March 29, 2008 From neighboursepisodes.com PubHarold echoes Lyn’s remark to Valda as he and Max try to persuade Lou to talk to her. Valda arrives to substitute for the chef and eventually Max and Harold manoeuvre the pair into a position where they agree to a ‘rematch’ for dinner that evening. HAROLD: Oh it’s like being the parent of a ten-year-old again. MAX: I thought we were going to have to bribe them with lollies. Lou and Valda scowl and glare but avoid one another’s direct glance. So unless the summary is incorrect, which is highly unlikely, it looks like it is correct. Quote
Elin Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Are recently submitted quotes checked for duplicates before they're added? I submitted this quote: STEPH: (to Max) You may be a grumpy mean old man on the outside but inside you’re just full of that gooey chewy sticky stuff aren’t you?!(Episode 4981) two weeks ago and another one that's the same was still accepted earlier tonight. Just wondering what the procedure is since it's bound to happen again. Quote
Sayaka Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 We have no easy way to check for duplicates, we just have to try to remember. Quote
Stew Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Yes, there are currently 110 pages of quotes, so it would be a long job to check if one had slipped through already. Quote
Management Bagpuss Posted April 5, 2008 Management Report Posted April 5, 2008 How would you tell it's a duplicate, and does it matter if a quote is duplicated? Quote
